Watery Wednesday #10

(To join in Watery Wednesday go Here.)

It is Watery Wednesday. Today is cold, it was 18 degrees this morning. I put my camera in the car and went to take a picture of water.

Water

My son called home and said he forgot a book so I had to drive to school to take him the book. I just slipped my little camera into my pocket and when I drove back home I stopped the car beside the road to take a picture of this little bit of frozen water.

Great shots. You've encouraged me to grab some coffee and head up to the lake. Maybe I'll catch a couple of birds. I'll be glad when it cools off around here. It's supposed to be 80 today. Not a sign of frost anywhere except in my freezer. :-D

I like the reflection, but don't want to think about the cold. It was 18 this morning at my house. Too cold for me. Glad I didn't have to get out until noon.

I love the serenity in your first shot. And the unique color of the water too. You don't usually see it that green, even in a small pond. Especially this time of year when algae growth is pretty minimal.

Very cool!
