Saturday Wordzzle Challenge #101

From CONNIE PICTURE THAT

This weeks words:
smoothness, crafty, purchase, brief, chirping, forever, shift, moonrise, lampshade, stereotype For the mini: remembrance, Dr. John, Agent 012, dragons, Fortress

Princess Cindiella lay in her tower on the new sheets. The smoothness of the sheets brought back memories of her brief encounter with Agent 012 the night before. She was laying on the thick mossy ground next to a bubbling brook. Dr. John told her to go to the brook at moonrise to look for dragons. She heard a chirping noise in the direction of the forest. That was when she saw Agent 012 running in her direction. He had this crafty look about him, so she stayed real still. He saw her anyway and came in her direction.

“Excuse me miss, I am looking for the Fortress, I know it is around here somewhere.” She had to shift her weight to stand up to look at him.

"And whom might you be?” she asked. Agent 012, saw a beautiful woman, long golden hair, fine clothes that looked fit for a queen, “probably never had to purchase her own clothes”, he thought.

“I am Agent 012 and I am on a mission to find dragons.”
She was thinking that she didn’t want to stereotype him, but he looked the type of person to be on a mission to find dragons. He had a way about him, that was mysterious.

“Yes I know the direction of the Fortress, go across the bubbling brook and you will come to a crooked old house. It is the house of a troll. He will ask you for a password to go across his bridge, but first he will make you put a lampshade on your head and then make you guess the password.”

“Well, that is a silly thing to do!” Agent 012 said.

“Do you know the password?” he asked.

“As a matter of fact, I do…….it is remembrance”,
She said. “Oh and be sure to run fast, as the Troll will be mad that you know the password.”

“Thank You,” he said as he started walking away toward the bubbling brook.

She would forever remember this brief encounter with Agent 012 on this moonlit night.

This is in memory of Dr. John Linna who has passed on. He wrote the most wonderful stories on his blog.  You can join in, although it might be late, on this wordzzle.  Go to Views from Raven's Nest and read the rules.   I am one day late on this.  It is a Saturday Wordzzle.

This is perfect for Dr. John - I'm sure he is smiling in heaven thinking about it.

As for lateness - I don't really care if people post on Saturday or over the course of the week... never have, really... it just worked out that people mostly posted on Saturday. Maybe I should change the name to "weekly" wordzzle challenge. Hmmm.

Raven: The words intimidate me, but after I see what you write, I get inspired so I just start writing something. Or I just forget about it, until I am reminded that it is time to do it again.

Connie, you're getting more fluid with your writing by the week, I swear. This was a magical little story. I'm sure Dr J would have loved it.
